it's honestly sad that people already forgot PRISM/MUSCULAR/other SIGADs barely 10 years after Snowden's leaks

never think you're too "unimportant" for governments to track you, the fact they indiscriminately track entire populations for even the tiniest things isn't just a conspiracy theory, it was proven literally a decade ago

if you need to be anonymous to be safe, taking your own measures to be anonymous is absolutely paramount, do not rely on them simply not going after you

No matter what happens, remember that we are allies.

The only people you should be tearing down are:

Those who pose a clear danger to others (and given we’re in para space where people are into dark shit, I’m not counting things that have been consented to as danger) beyond those which are important for praxis or have other large benefits
Those who tear people down for reasons other than the above.

Crabs-in-a-bucket is what the feds want us to be. Celebrate and promote each others’ success. Make sure that discussions around disagreement aren’t risking harming someone’s standing or reputation by tempering your words carefully.

Build people up, don’t tear them down.
