and I've heard talk of "love is for peasants" from historians, and so if the aristocrats or royals or whatev, thought of romantic love as something for the common folk, since they, the royals, were "cursed" *swoon* to be in arranged marriages devoid of love, they were already romanticizing the life of the peasants.

The nuclear family is a lie, an American invention. Families have historically been groups, entire gatherings of humans, of humanity, all organizing and living together, understanding of eachother. In reality, the family is wholly artificial, it is a roleplay, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that.

@tarperfume @bot This is what I meant when I was talking about gender binary existing or not existing effecting whether or not someone can "break gender norms", since if there are no gender norms to break, no one can do that. Either the gender binary is real, and so trans people are actually transitioning into a different gender, or the gender binary is imaginary, and so trans people are not really transitioning they are only pretending to within the roleplaying pageantry that is a gender binary society in a world where gender is a cultural concept.
@tarperfume @bot They think that it doesn't make definitional sense, I don't think they're denying that people initially raised as men are not holding to that role in certain cases, because that's what's pissing them off, so they must notice it.
