I showed someone I trusted my Jazzy identity, and they gave me such a backhanded compliment. Out of context it might not seem bad but there are things I'm not telling you. Trust me. It was a jab. They said something akin to "I could never be brave enough to say what you say", and out of context it doesn't look that bad, but trust me, it translates to "You're a joke to me, you're a fool, a moron, and I would never be as stupid as you in a million years."
The fucked up thing is This Is America still feels so fresh and relevant
Imma watch The Blue Beetle, I'm not Hispanic but I'm Hispanic passing and so I never get mad about Hispanic representation in media, because I can self insert no problem. I'm actually learning Spanish so I can go fit in one day maybe. Would be cool to be surrounded by people who look like me and like anime, so they don't look at me like some freak who doesn't belong without even getting to know me.

I lost two online friend groups because the person who ran the group just decided I was competition for their cool points and got rid of me.
@smolpansexual@mstdn.jp Traditional news is bad too but I mean all the "news" on twitter, first hand eye witness videos, I've noticed a LOT of fake videos coming from Palestine, where they set up a scene so obvious to anyone with a brain and then EVERYONE and their mother believes it because they're stupid as fuck. I've seen enough cartel videos to know how people act under stress, enough beheading videos, enough videos of people in the aftermath of tragedy to know what they should look like in the face, many of these videos coming out from there are fake (I would bet) and it's pissing me off because people really are dying but that's not good enough for them they have to do their disgusting pallywood bullshit.
I refuse to watch the news anymore it's all lies idk why you guys watch it either. I'm quitting all news, someone will walk up to me and go "DID YOU HEAR DID YOU HEAR?!?" and I will say NO because I am BUSY STACKING PAPER BITCH

@Kit @paris @violet_rose @Haitel this actually sounds really familiar we used to be in "fwuffy friends club", a discord group for nnians that had multiple topics, including reporting on any recent new members deemed problematic or worthy of suspicion. it was mega uncomfy and started our messy exit from the place we have grown very allergic to such "intelligence" lead groups

I did my first lethal playthrough of MGSV: GZ, was pretty fun, very tight mechanics, ai acts very realistically, love it. I RPd as snake when I did it, so since snake doesn't kill I pretended he snapped, and decided that this extraction was about revenge and sending a message, teaching a lesson, carrying out a punishment, on his way to "becoming" punished snake.
