Idk how people don't recognize that homosexuality and trangender being considered a mental disorder doesn't make them read the DSM-V with a more critical eye. A lot of disorders are very obviously "housewife I don't like, kid that isn't obedient enough, woman who is annoying, kid that is seen and heard too much, housewife who is having an existential crisis, weird kid, women who we aren't allowed to lobotomize anymore"
