If your response to a post about someone struggling with their identity and finding comfort in labels is “Labels are stupid” then please don’t comment on that post.
What you end up doing is making people feel invalidated for wanting to understand themselves they way they want to. Labels are important to some people, and to call that “stupid” is rude at best, malicious at worst.
It’s okay to not like labels, but it’s also okay to like labels. Both can exist and not infringe on each other.
