Wrote something. Less intellectual than emotional. It’s to try and convey my stance more intimately… and bring attention to something.
We talk a lot about the harms of contact, but not much about the harms of the forced abstinence of a sexual being. That was the pain I experienced, even the worst kind of contact I experienced was only mildly negative for me. But forced abstinence, for me, led to complete misery.
The worst part was feeling like my suffering was justified to others, that I was a “necessary sacrifice” to protect other kids from what I desired. It’s one of the things I told myself I would never forget, no matter how old I got.
It’s a huge reason why I’m pro-reform and lean pro-c.
