The reason why underage "sex-work" or even prostitution in general is associated with "abuse"/"exploitation" is BECAUSE it lacks a strong legal or decriminalized status. It lacks protection as a - v a l i d - form of work (Marxists would say that "sex-work" (whether "adult" or "youth") can never be valid in the first place because there's no "material" byproduct of the labor, but only immaterial pleasure).
An underage (or even "adult") "sex-worker", when they're "at work", KNOWS that the people who "purchase" their services can essentially do whatever they want to them (as long as they don't get caught) BECAUSE there is no (or not enough) regulations/protections (aside from like a Maddame or a Pimp checking on everything).
This is not a result of "society promoting abuse" or "C(r)apitalism (TM) exploiting people", but a result of the inability of people to come to terms with the valid agency of the "sex-worker" themselves. They are sidelined and stigmatized, and because they are sidelined and stigmatized they are exploited (just like, say illegal migrant laborers, for example).
Instead of people claiming to speak for "sex-workers", why don't people let them speak for themselves? We talk about "agency" allot here, but on this subject that agency gets thrown out of the window in favor of a puritanical, paternalistic "sex-work is bad in all cases and these "poor exploited workers" just have to accept my gaslighting of them!!!".
Stop feeding into this self-fulfilling prophecy.

2nd picture is an elaboration on the argument that Marxism, as it is rooted in the past, is traditionalist and itself Patriarchial/Paternalistic.
