@ity I understand the study but this doesn't appear to be controlled and I'm not reading all that if it's not scientific, it sounds like they're dealing with street users who are using contaminated opiates, the contamination is what is causing the problems. Until this gets figured out it's just data. Could be opiates causing the seizures, something the entire world would be aware of if it were a thing, or it could be adulterants, especially if those adulterants are benzos and the users are habitual.

@ity Yea no I double checked you are confusing tremors with seizures, just because a junkie is shaking they are not having a seizure. A seizure is to a tremor what a tsunami is to a wave.

@Katie @Zest One of my (irrational?) fears is that one day I'll exhale too far and my lung walls will touch inside and get stuck and not be able to reinflate properly and I'll be like dying or something /fears

@Katie @Zest Why would they? Mine is made of metal, and high temp silicone for the mouth piece and cap. There's no taste when it's clean and heated up, it's basically a hot air machine if there's no wax in the crucible. But put some in and heat it up and it all evaporates and can be inhaled. I just kind of worry also about this shit accumulating on the walls of my lungs, I know studies show that when a weed smoker stops their lungs go back to normal unlike with tobacco smokers, meaning the body isn't permanently damaged but I have a hard time breathing even though I'm in good shape and have some muscle tone, I think my lungs are shellaced or lacquered in this shit, imagine the most sticky gooey glue that's not hard but stays tacky, that's what concentrate vapor recondenses into, and if it's in the lungs well then it's going to recondense on the lung walls.......clogging the little air holes the lungs use to exchange gas :(

@Zest I use a portable refillable electric dab rig, or "vape", I get the good wax, I hate mass marketization of cannabis. People bitched this would happen but I always knew the good stuff would still be around for people who knew about it. Pain in the ass about it is it needs to be thoroughly cleaned after every other use or it'll overflow with reclaim and would probably get gummed up.

@Zest "vape" is a technique not a substance. Do not buy shitty vape carts, buy high quality pure plant concentrate and inhale it with a nectar collector or bong with a dab rig. Both are still vaping. No combustion is taking place. Vape.
