I you, like me, have been wondering what is really behind the strange, over the top push to ban TicTok, the real motive is starting to emerge.
You have to understand, TicTok does collect huge amounts of data. But that is NOT unusual for large social media companies. If collection was the real issue here, the bills being pushed would be targeting data collection. They arent. There is something else behind this.
What seems to be going on here is the National Security State is creating another false crisis, using fear, in an attempt to pass legislation which makes the Patriot Act look mild in comparison.

The Deterring America's Technological Adversaries Act , is a full blown hostile takeover of the free internet, rendering it a completely State controlled channel.
