Ok I finished Roots and wow, great, even though it portrays whites as evil and blacks as saints, there did end up being a good white family and some good peaceful messages but not many, still a great epic story regardless of its angle

(context: This poverty stricken white is not racist but his black friends want him to be their overseer so they don't get stuck with a worse one, and are teaching him to put on a good front tricking the other whites into thinking he's a nigger hater like them)

I want to go around the world sharing good times, I want to do something. Now that I've given up on saving the world I have so much free time...I think this is how normal people feel, this is why they want to "do things", I've always been too tired to "do things" because I was busy figuring out how to fix the world, which is an impossible task, and I kept pouring energy into it.
