Half a century ago gay rights groups pushed out MAP groups like NAMbLA. The public image of gay people and pedophiles being under the same umbrella was thought to be to much of a hindrance to queer liberation, so they pushed out their allies to earn acceptance from their enemies.
And here were are, half a century later. Their enemies still call them predators, no matter how much distance they put between us. Really makes you think, doesn't it?
Appeasement is never the answer, never trade your allies for your enemies. We should be working to build communities that can coexist and keep each other safe, not push each other away, especially in a time of rising fascism.

Society grooms children into weapons to use against MAPs. They cause the trauma that they want to claim contact causes. They aren’t actually concerned with protecting children. They are concerned with harming MAPs. And they actively harm children to accomplish it.
