I showed someone I trusted my Jazzy identity, and they gave me such a backhanded compliment. Out of context it might not seem bad but there are things I'm not telling you. Trust me. It was a jab. They said something akin to "I could never be brave enough to say what you say", and out of context it doesn't look that bad, but trust me, it translates to "You're a joke to me, you're a fool, a moron, and I would never be as stupid as you in a million years."

Imma watch The Blue Beetle, I'm not Hispanic but I'm Hispanic passing and so I never get mad about Hispanic representation in media, because I can self insert no problem. I'm actually learning Spanish so I can go fit in one day maybe.
