Yes, it does count.
Doesn't mean the game is bad, but it does mean the hame is p2w.
But let's be honest, p2w is not an up to date term, since most games would drive you hungry before you could get the proper advantage. Some games don't even offer anything worth it at all. (gta5)
So, I think a term (whalebait) is more appropriate to modern gaming.

To be honest, I am quite pissed about all the "GTA V is cashgrab" videos. I do get, why would people be complaining about War Thunder, where it can take years for players to even touch the high-tier stuff, but gta 5? Seriously?
When I played the game, not only did I not feel held back,... But I unlocked most of the important stuff in 2 weeks of playing... In other words, I doubt there even would be stuff for me for an entire month. The game is as shallow as they get, so to rate it as containing these extreme grind walls is just crazy.

Exactly my point...
It might cost 100 dollars, or you could play the fucking game for 2 days. If you can get Avenger, CEO office, night club, several buisinesses, bunker, doomsday bunker, helicopter, jet and a submarine-car in two weeks of playing, is the game P2W, or is the game giving you plenty of rewards?
calculating the game in real cash is dumb, when tbe game is paying you much more for actually playing the fucking game...
@dielan @Jessica @LukeAlmighty @Rude @Stellar I liked Vice City.

calm your tits...
Why the fuck did you switch the topic? Gta V is a shity game with a hacking problem. I do know that. But my question was, why do you care just how ineffective the buying of premium currency is, when you do not need it? GTA online gives you all of it's containts for nearly free, so if you want to play the game, you don't need the shark cards. If you don't plan on playing it, why pay?
@Jessica @LukeAlmighty @Rude @Stellar @dielan You should not have difficulty in making 50k every 48 minutes with daily bills that high.

This is such a strange argument...
I like there to be shooting in my game. Why is there no shooting in chess? Why am I loosing my pawns?
Some people just want to sit and start shooting instead of managing all of the figires. Why is chess so demanding? People want to play chess, not what feels like another job.
First, I was asking about microtransactions. You cannot argue just because the game doesn't fit your precise specifications for casual game. There are thousands of casual games out there. The question is, why do you feel like this game is pushing you, when it gives you sooo much money...
If you play WOW for two weeks, you get nothing. lvl 50 maybe? That will not let you experience the endgame. In War thunder, you MIGHT get tier 4, if you are grinding with purpose. In GTA5, you will have unlocked 80 percent of game by then. Yet, the ammount of whining about GTAV is unreal. And that is what I don't understand...
now this is a good post
