@Rude nothing you can't get for free by investing your time. Does that count?

@Jessica @Stellar

@dielan @Stellar @Jessica @Rude@kys.moe
Yes, it does count.

Doesn't mean the game is bad, but it does mean the hame is p2w.
But let's be honest, p2w is not an up to date term, since most games would drive you hungry before you could get the proper advantage. Some games don't even offer anything worth it at all. (gta5)

So, I think a term (whalebait) is more appropriate to modern gaming.

To be honest, I am quite pissed about all the "GTA V is cashgrab" videos. I do get, why would people be complaining about War Thunder, where it can take years for players to even touch the high-tier stuff, but gta 5? Seriously?
When I played the game, not only did I not feel held back,... But I unlocked most of the important stuff in 2 weeks of playing... In other words, I doubt there even would be stuff for me for an entire month. The game is as shallow as they get, so to rate it as containing these extreme grind walls is just crazy.

@LukeAlmighty @dielan @Stellar @Rude it's gotten worse over the years. some stuff in the game requires $100 or more in real world currency, and you get paid more by a minimum-wage job than actually playing GTAO.
almost half of the stuff in the game is worth about $50 in real world USD

@Jessica @Rude@kys.moe @dielan @Stellar
Exactly my point...

It might cost 100 dollars, or you could play the fucking game for 2 days. If you can get Avenger, CEO office, night club, several buisinesses, bunker, doomsday bunker, helicopter, jet and a submarine-car in two weeks of playing, is the game P2W, or is the game giving you plenty of rewards?

calculating the game in real cash is dumb, when tbe game is paying you much more for actually playing the fucking game...

@LukeAlmighty @Rude @dielan @Stellar no. the game will still pay less than what you could earn by having a normal job.
and compound the fact that rockstar doesn't do much to thwart hackers, and you can easily be doxxed just by logging into GTAO without a VPN.
the problem is that the price of money hasn't changed in 10 years, so things just keep getting more expensive.
also consider that there are a lot of hackers that are on GTAO and they have no way of controlling it, and they can frame you for hacking and get you banned unless you pay for a hacked client just for protection.

calm your tits...

Why the fuck did you switch the topic? Gta V is a shity game with a hacking problem. I do know that. But my question was, why do you care just how ineffective the buying of premium currency is, when you do not need it? GTA online gives you all of it's containts for nearly free, so if you want to play the game, you don't need the shark cards. If you don't plan on playing it, why pay?

@LukeAlmighty @Rude @dielan @Stellar if you compare some of the FiveM servers to GTAO, I'd much rather play the FiveM servers, because they're innovative and aren't the normal "rockstar" way of game mechanics which quite frankly is boring and sub-par
@LukeAlmighty @Rude @dielan @Stellar You can defend the grindy mess of GTA 5 all you want, but that doesn't stop some people from not wanting to come home from work to open up a video game that's even more work.
you literally have to pay bills daily in GTA 5
and 1 day is about 48 minutes.
you can also be paying Rockstar about $8 for 5 1/2 hours of idly playing the game if your daily bills are at 50k , not in missions or anything. where i live, that's about 1/3 of what a house costs to rent.

need i remind you that this is a game about robbery, yet it feels like a job

@Jessica @LukeAlmighty @Rude @Stellar @dielan You should not have difficulty in making 50k every 48 minutes with daily bills that high.

@tn5421 @LukeAlmighty @Rude @Stellar @dielan You're missing my point. you're playing a game about robbery and stealing where you have to pay bills.
it is a video game.

@Jessica @Rude@kys.moe @tn5421 @dielan @Stellar
This is such a strange argument...
I like there to be shooting in my game. Why is there no shooting in chess? Why am I loosing my pawns?
Some people just want to sit and start shooting instead of managing all of the figires. Why is chess so demanding? People want to play chess, not what feels like another job.

First, I was asking about microtransactions. You cannot argue just because the game doesn't fit your precise specifications for casual game. There are thousands of casual games out there. The question is, why do you feel like this game is pushing you, when it gives you sooo much money...

If you play WOW for two weeks, you get nothing. lvl 50 maybe? That will not let you experience the endgame. In War thunder, you MIGHT get tier 4, if you are grinding with purpose. In GTA5, you will have unlocked 80 percent of game by then. Yet, the ammount of whining about GTAV is unreal. And that is what I don't understand...
