Hi autistic army

Do you have any idea what this thing is? This "effect" is throughout every frame and the entire screen. It makes things painful to watch, since no matter what I am looking at, there is this "dots pattern" that makes everything looking noisy. and my eyes feel like they cannot focus correctly.

Any idea what is it called and how to get rid of it?

@rok0 @LukeAlmighty it's called "modern game devs are complete shitters that completely ignore how a game looks like without temporal anti aliasing", doing lots of things that look very noisy and look like ass without a step that blurs things together at the end

@shpuld @rok0
Funny. I turn off all blurs whenever I get a chance to... XD

Yeah. I get what you mean.

@LukeAlmighty @rok0 playing without AA used to not be that ugly, but in the last gen techniques have changed a lot so that you get waayy more artifacts without it
@birdulon @LukeAlmighty @rok0 rt is very different, denoising rt results that are then applied to the scene is very different than applying vaseline to literally everything because everything is full of shimmering pixels

@shpuld @LukeAlmighty @rok0 yes yes it’s very different because you like those things that look very noisy and like ass without a step that blurs it all together at the end :)

@birdulon @LukeAlmighty @rok0 you're missing the point, rt used for reflections/lighting does not result in stray flickering pixels everywhere and denoising that sort of stuff doesn't result in blurring the image on your screen, just the parts that are raytraced

@dielan
:pepelol:
Yeah, I will wurn it on, but I do play on fullHD now, so it's not that important most of the time.

@Ted @dielan @rok0 @Ted
Damn... You guys are throwing at me terms so fast, there is no possible way for me to even start reading on them in time :D

@LukeAlmighty @Ted @dielan I was looking at it wrong. It does look more like dithering because it's evenly applied
@LukeAlmighty @Ted @rok0

Anti Aliasing is a setting you turn on to tell your graphics card to work a little harder and draw diagonal lines instead of this stair-steppin bullshit

@dielan @Ted @rok0
I have been playing with the settings now. Somehow settings the models to medium did half the work...

The other half sadly needed max AA AND setting the render resolution to 200 percent.

What game even has that option? I am prety sure they included it because they knew the game was fucked up...

@LukeAlmighty @Ted @rok0

The PC version of ff15 didnt come out until the game was finished actually
