@sizzletron

The pension was the most poisoned pill the white man ever took.

@Senpai-kun @sizzletron@noagendasocial.com
Yes, but I would never expect that they will take it away from people with 20+ year experience with shooting guns under pressure.

@LukeAlmighty @Senpai-kun @sizzletron wait until the assets in the funds that hold their pensions shit the bed

@dew_the_dew @sizzletron@noagendasocial.com @Senpai-kun
That happened literaly the year the entire concept was created. They just pay by printing more.

@LukeAlmighty @sizzletron @Senpai-kun it is all going into stonks but we are also looking at another 2008 scenario. the pension at the end of the rainbow is the only thing keeping a lot of the police/military in line. if the economy shits the bed they are free agents again.

@dew_the_dew @sizzletron@noagendasocial.com @Senpai-kun
Do not forget sunken cost fallacy. That beast will drive some people insane...

@dew_the_dew @sizzletron@noagendasocial.com @Senpai-kun
I saw people work after not being paid, because they were "promissed pay", and it would be sunken cost to leave.

Humans are stupid that way.

Follow

@Senpai-kun @sizzletron@noagendasocial.com @dew_the_dew
No, they are stupid.

To continue to work is to provide something for nothing. There is NOTHING keeping them there.

And if they turn their back, most enployers are smart enough to suddenly find the cash to pay them anyway.

They lost respect for themselves to even negotiate their own terms.

@Senpai-kun @sizzletron@noagendasocial.com @dew_the_dew
Oh... I don't know what country you live in, but do you REEEELY want to tell me, that there are legal implications of leaving an unpaid job? :alexjonessmile:

@LukeAlmighty @sizzletron @dew_the_dew

More specifically workers have no collective bargaining power. The power imbalance between employer and employee is lopsided and cannot be fixed individually.

@Senpai-kun @sizzletron@noagendasocial.com @dew_the_dew
Fuck that commie noise.

One man leaving is more power then you can fathem.

When one leaves for not getting paid, other will consider the same. And when more leave, the employer is fucked.

And even when just you leave, you are no longer a slave.

@LukeAlmighty @sizzletron @dew_the_dew

Going Galt is not a threat to employers. People who have families need incomes. Employers fear unions, not lone wolves vanishing off into the woods.
@Senpai-kun @LukeAlmighty @sizzletron yes but for the pension goy, merely the threat of the pension not being there is pretty heavy
@dew_the_dew @LukeAlmighty @sizzletron

I don't know why anyone ever trusted pensions. It's not hard to envision how easy they are to just delete.
@Senpai-kun @LukeAlmighty @sizzletron in all seriousness if you don't have the money it's not your money.

@Senpai-kun @sizzletron@noagendasocial.com @dew_the_dew
You said it....

They jave families to feed. Working for free won't do that. How can you even try to reframe the simplest trade in the world?
2 options:
Work + no pay
or
Looking for work that will pay

They ARE stupid.

@LukeAlmighty @sizzletron @dew_the_dew

No, they are under duress. There is not enough economic mobility to be sure that you can quit your job like a boomer and pick up a new one on the way home. They are being told they cannot be paid in the moment, not indefinitely.

Rather than focus your ire on the abused employee, you should be screaming for the blood of the employer who is somehow able to abuse his employees in this way.

@Senpai-kun @sizzletron@noagendasocial.com @dew_the_dew
Yeah... and unions are the oldest trojan horse bullshit in the book.

@Senpai-kun @sizzletron@noagendasocial.com @dew_the_dew
I believe, that you truly fell for the fraud, that is separation between group and an individual... THERE IS NONE.

Every member of group has similar rules they live by. But if you include a rule "must obey group" and place a leader of said group, then you can control them all. It is a simple slide of hand.

@LukeAlmighty @sizzletron @dew_the_dew

Libertarianism does not necessitate a suicidal degree of individualism.

@Senpai-kun @sizzletron@noagendasocial.com @dew_the_dew
NOT WORKING FOR FREE IS NOT SUICIDAL YOU RETARD!!!

@LukeAlmighty @sizzletron @dew_the_dew

They are told the situation is temporary, and the alternative is to re-enter a post-covid employment market. There are no good options on the table for them.

A bachelor with a healthy sum of savings stored up can laugh this whole situation off for months, or maybe even years. A man with a wife and children cannot.
@Nudhul @LukeAlmighty @Senpai-kun @dew_the_dew @sizzletron they do physical labor all day every day, they don't eat disgusting processed food, they don't inject themselves with poison, they live somewhere with clean air because there are almost no cars or factories, and they don't use brain-rotting computers.

the Amish are probably the healthiest people on the planet.
@noyoushutthefuckupdad @Nudhul @LukeAlmighty @Senpai-kun @dew_the_dew @sizzletron on average they re healthier but many of them are crippled from preventable diseases and they have an inbreeding problem (they're working on the latter, they started having cross-country mixers to meet other amish communities)
@noyoushutthefuckupdad @LukeAlmighty @Nudhul @Senpai-kun @dew_the_dew @sizzletron Amish have a sophisticated system of determining what modern things they will adopt. It isn't just a blanket ban on old stuff. Things are allowed until a ruling against the thing. Their elders get together and weigh the benefit of the product/technology against its social/spiritual downsides and make a decision for the entire community. It's not perfect but it has preserved their way of life for hundreds of years and they are the overall happiest demographic in the country.
@noyoushutthefuckupdad @LukeAlmighty @Nudhul @Senpai-kun @dew_the_dew @sizzletron example: telephone is allowed to be used, but it is one shared phone in the community, can typically only make outbound calls, and it physically is placed far outside the community center. They accept modernity on their own terms.
@LukeAlmighty @sizzletron @dew_the_dew

If you are a libertarian then you should be pro-union. They are the most voluntary and least governmental way for workers to correct the individual power imbalance between employee and employer.

@Senpai-kun @sizzletron@noagendasocial.com @dew_the_dew
Yes, I am libertarian, and I never asked anyone for a premision to say "FUCK YOU NEGRO" to a boss.

And they treat me accordingly, knowing, that the first day my pay is not where it should be, or I decide its too low, I walk away.

@LukeAlmighty @sizzletron @dew_the_dew

If you can't even say nigger on fedi then someone owns your mouth.

@Senpai-kun @sizzletron@noagendasocial.com @dew_the_dew
Says the guy promoting literal slavery....

But they need their masta... :pepeDread:

@Senpai-kun @sizzletron@noagendasocial.com @dew_the_dew
Ok, I quit.

You are dumber then average commie. They at least ask for "everyone to his needs"

@LukeAlmighty @sizzletron @dew_the_dew

Wait, what? Not even a voluntary union?

Is there any collective you wouldn't object to, no matter how voluntary?

Would a bowling club violate your individualist principles?

@Senpai-kun @sizzletron@noagendasocial.com @dew_the_dew
I said I quit
QUIT

I refuse to debate details of what limits are or are not acceptable with someone, who says working for 0 (free) (nothing) (voluntary slavery) is a good financial decision.

@LukeAlmighty @sizzletron @dew_the_dew

Do you think that people only take deals that are bad for them due to stupidity, and never because they are under duress?

@Senpai-kun @sizzletron@noagendasocial.com @dew_the_dew
I think you're too stupid to understand the meaning of "i quit".

i will talk about different topics, including your stupidity, but you and economics are now connected om my "not a single sentence" list.

@LukeAlmighty @sizzletron @dew_the_dew

The source of your frustration is that your ideology of extreme individualism has failed you. You can't acknowledge the concept of duress and you can't support a voluntary collective. Your individualism has taken priority even over your libertarianism.
@LukeAlmighty @Senpai-kun @sizzletron @dew_the_dew
>Libertarianism: Praticed in zero countries
>Marxism: Controls the US (cultural marxism) and China (maoism)

@SneedsterSpeedster @LukeAlmighty @dew_the_dew @sizzletron

This guy can't even be a libertarian, due to reducto ad absurdum levels of individualism.

@LukeAlmighty @Senpai-kun @sizzletron @dew_the_dew if you think you can't do that in a union, you have never been a part of one. Right to work laws are anti-libertarian.
@Nudhul @LukeAlmighty @dew_the_dew @sizzletron

It has always been a libertarian take that something which is good when it is voluntary is not necessarily better when it is mandatory. It follows that the reverse is also true.
@Senpai-kun @LukeAlmighty @dew_the_dew @sizzletron yeah but that doesnt make unions good. they prevent upward mobility and get in the way of negotiations because everything must be done through the union head. if you are in a union, you are essentially a subcontractor for whomever employs you.
@Nudhul @LukeAlmighty @dew_the_dew @sizzletron

It is in the nature of a collective to sacrifice flexibility in exchange for stability. That's not inherently bad unless the employee in question is such a one-man army that he cannot be disposed of easily on his own merit. I'm willing to bet a lot of people aren't that singularly powerful in whatever company they work for.

Regardless, if a worker can choose not to join a union, where's the foul?
@Senpai-kun @LukeAlmighty @dew_the_dew @sizzletron sometimes there isn't a choice, or the individual in question is harassed by the union for not joining
@Nudhul @LukeAlmighty @dew_the_dew @sizzletron

I mean if people are finding Union-planted horse heads in their bed, that's a matter for the police.
@Senpai-kun @LukeAlmighty @dew_the_dew @sizzletron non-trade unions are also notorious for protecting bad employees from being fired i.e. abusive teachers or government workers
@Nudhul @LukeAlmighty @dew_the_dew @sizzletron

Teachers unions are compulsory. Pretty sure it's the same for most if not all government workers as well. It's an important distinction.

Unions have a bad reputation in America but I suspect that this was a particularly clever tricked played by the Devil. Turning economic right-wingers against any ability for workers to collectivize leaves them at the mercy of corporate oligarchs.

It's as strange as the phenomenon of socialists hating the white working class. You'd think it wouldn't be possible to square that circle, but here we are.
@Senpai-kun
Opposition to unions in the USA was forged in the tail-end of the 19th and the early 20th century when the state DECLARED WAR on many White working class unions (including the he women and children of the men in the unions) who stood up and refused to be slaves
To cement the hatred of these unions by the conservatives, the government printed tons of propaganda calling the Whites anarchists, communists, etc
Actual commies pretend that these groups were communists (they weren't) while simultaneously hating them for being White
Look into the Coal Wars

@Nudhul @LukeAlmighty @dew_the_dew @sizzletron
@s_purdo @LukeAlmighty @Nudhul @dew_the_dew @sizzletron

Yeah I need to get read up on the details of the union busting history in America, because that is one of the tougher nuts to crack when talking to normiecons.

Even if specific unions today are as fake and gay as the GOP, that doesn't in any way invalidate the concept. Absent criminal interference, there's no reason they shouldn't solve the problems inherent in employer-employee power relations.
@Senpai-kun
Precisely. The so-called unions of today are no more than corporations stealing the name.
Calling them unions is similar to saying that the Chinese economic system is marxist

@LukeAlmighty @Nudhul @dew_the_dew @sizzletron
@Senpai-kun if they try to impose punishments for quitting it becomes literal forced labor. See my Infinity doubling down post. They are threatening the people who enforce the law with legal consequences. What could possibly go wrong
