Is there a way to limit steam decompression speed?
I have no idea how they do it, but I have seen their download freeze even verry beefy machines.

Nah. I am installing on D and the issue is still great.

And that bastard killed it. I had to use hard reset 
@LukeAlmighty Change process priority to lower, or if on a linux system, use different I/O scheduler
@LukeAlmighty I don't think so. I've only seen it freezing when you have a harddrive as C is you are installing it on it.
