And while I do understand, that you were talking about the maintanance level related to each option, I just cannot ignore the fact, that I would go for the custom one every time. It just seems to be the better option.

And yes, I also understand, that a standardized hardware is a great benefit for developers. But calling that "console" seems truly damaging, because of the horrible stigma of bad practices most consoles have.

So don't get insulted that I didn't include the "I agree with" part of the comment FFS.
