Autism seems to be a common name for several completelly different entities.
I hate it, but our "scientists" think that having a logical mind somehow the same problem as being literaly unable to talk.
It's almost as not distinguishing between white people and jews.
@LukeAlmighty @beardalaxy @fluffy The "autism spectrum" is a deliberate attempt to normalize mental illness, and I predict it will be used as a weapon to dismiss rational individuals by saying that they are "crazy", Soviet style.
Autism used to mean "unable to function in society".
Now "being on the spectrum" means little to those who understand what it is, but normies will still recoil and look at you like you have Down's syndrome.
That way you can make serious conditions sound not as bad, while dissenters seem a bit off, and less credible.

@diresock @LukeAlmighty @beardalaxy people use "autistic" to describe any completely ordinary serious effort, for example reading a book or compiling a spreadsheet.
