What does it mean to be a man?
Immagine medieval time. You step outside of your hutt, walk for a while and see a river.
You wander: A bridge would fit here perfectly. You grab an axe and get to work. One month later, bridge is complete, and wveryone who crosses it can be happy for your hard work.
But, today it's more like:
You leave your house, and get shouted on for trying to breathe. You reach a river, and wander that bridge would fit there. You grab an axe, and a police man says you don't have a permission to build it. You spend months getting permission, build it, and some idiot says, that you used nails not complient with bill KMA69420 and they have to destroy it.
There is nothing in this world left for a man to be apreciated for.
@LukeAlmighty the worst is having a father who doesn’t even really know (or has forgotten) how to be a father.
On the one hand, society. On the other hand, the failure of the parent.
Many men are aimless, without any view to the future. At least, in my case, when someone asks “where do you see yourself in X years?” I have to try not to cynically answer back “6 feet deep”.
