@beardalaxy @LukeAlmighty I just bought a 3070 and I'm playing dwarf fortress. At least it's power consumption is less than before

@corfiot @LukeAlmighty @beardalaxy I'm on a similar situation, that's why I'm delaying upgrading my amd r9 fury, because the only game that could benefit, and I don't own it yet, would be Elden Ring. I'm waiting to see if fromsoft releases dlc, if it does I'll wait until they sell everything together on sale, else I'll buy it when it goes around 30€ or below.
To me there are barely any last gen games worth playing that require a good graphic card.
Then again there are a lot of un-optimized good~ games too (last gen or not).

@Corfiot @LukeAlmighty that's the thing that gives me some comfort, even if I'm only playing in 1080p or whatever I know that means my hardware is gonna last a bit longer. Gpu and CPU are both meant for overclocking but I don't mess with that either so I've got a pretty good amount of overhead.

I think a 3070 is adequate hardware considering how long goes it take to start that game.
