I believe, that porn is necessary, considering amount of women, who decide to go the way of single mom. Men need a 3rd choice between becoming slave to an immoral being, and going insane.
But I see, why the ammount of horrible arguments in the field make it seem, like porn is source of all evil these days.

Except, these things are not problems, they are copes.
Do you know how hard is it to get a good tea on the way from work? Modern people don't even get the choice 1/2 the time, And 99.9 percent of time, sweet drinks are much more available.
I even asked in a fucking tea shop, and they didn't offer to prepare it.
Same goes for porn. Porn is not the problem, lack of quality women is. And I wish more right wingers realized it.
Yeah its called choice architecture. They force people to make poor decisions. They want people buying cheap unhealthy shit. So subsidize corn syrup, provide illusion of choice with Coke vs Pepsi, and limit access to or raise prices on alternatives.
To change that we only have a few options: take control, have someone else take control, or paralyze the system so they don't have so much control over the choices we're offered. Not getting widespread access to better tea or women otherwise.

So, my point is, that it's pointless to blame porn, when healthy options are not available. and when they will be available again, the porn addiction across population will decrease by itself.
Again its not necessary to make it the first plank in a party platform, but must be addressed in some fashion.
If you agree with the choice architecture bit, you should agree with banning or regulating stuff you don't like. If you want people to make different choices, bans, regulations, and propaganda are how governments go about getting people to make the choices they want them to make.
The only question becomes how hard to go against some of this stuff with how ingrained it is in the population right now. Might be necessary to be somewhat milquetoast to start before ramping it up.
