Can I say just how much I hate this weird current trend of dithered transparency? It makes the whole image look so noisy!

It is so unbelievably ugly and my eyes hurt from it.

For instance, I quit Final Fantasy 15 after a few hours only because of this shading, because I just couldn't look at it no matter what settings I tried.
