@LukeAlmighty i can imagine that going through a lot of accounts to see if they actually broke the rules or if they were just victims of the culture war might take a bit. midterms are only a week away and he's saying it could take a few weeks.

i mean, hypothetically, if we changed the rules on gameliberty and let a lot of people back on the website, we'd still have to go through everyone's profile that we banned to see what previous rules they actually broke. i can imagine it would take quite a bit longer on twitter.

not saying that i think elon is the savior for all mankind or anything like that, but i personally don't think this is a malicious thing. it's just actually going to take quite a bit to really get everyone unbanned.

other stuff though, like yeah, it's fucking twitter. why the fuck anyone still uses it other than to advertise is beyond me. elon owning it won't change dick, including the culture of the site.
