@coolboymew I think I'll just buy it one day, and complete the trial just to piss you all off.

(The only hard part is the cola.)

@LukeAlmighty @coolboymew
Make a thread of it if you ever do. But I just don't see a normal person doing it. Even if you starved yourself prior, I don't see that much fitting in a normal stomach of someone who isn't a fat fuck.

@LukeAlmighty @coolboymew
There's a lot cropped out of that screenshot, you do know that right?

@LukeAlmighty @alyx @LukeAlmighty @alyx @coolboymew i could do 1 of the burgers, an order of the nuggets and fries and a single drink but i'd be dying for hours. how the fuck can someone eat this much
@meowski @LukeAlmighty @alyx @graf @coolboymew you can also roll up an extra-large pizza and eat it like a wrap. just as a light snack.
@tomey @LukeAlmighty @alyx @graf @coolboymew extreme morbid obesity like this was non-existent until HFCS became widespread. i think it's impossible to become this fat without the easier metabolism to fat of fructose
@tomey @LukeAlmighty @alyx @Jens_Rasmussen @graf @coolboymew your body naturally uses glucose for energy so i wouldn't necessarily just say sugar is nasty. what's nasty is the combination of virtually unlimited supply of highly refined purified sugar and poor impulse control, and general ignorance about what is an acceptable amount of sugar to eat

one piece of fruit per day is reasonable imo and no more than that

Agreed. This is true.

When you eat fruit, the fiber slows your intake of the fructose sugar and allows you to digest/process it better. With soft-drinks and added-sugar junk food, there is no fiber so your body will just suck that shit right up. The way your body greedily processes sugar was a great evolutionary advantage for most of human history, but when it is consumed in vast amounts per the typical western diet, it is pretty harmful.

I have some kind of systemic sugar intolerance, so I need to mostly keep to a keto diet but small amounts of fruit are OK.
@LukeAlmighty @alyx @graf @coolboymew @tomey it's sugar extracted from corn using a chemical process that involves lye (sodium hydroxide NaOH). lye is generally made by an electrolytic process called the "mercury cell process"

therefore HFCS is normally contaminated with mercury
