@ChristiJunior @LukeAlmighty @beardalaxy I stopped trying to make sense and consistency of Harry Potter a long ago, it's just a franchise for kids that's centered around school and the entire worldbuilding is subordinate to the school. simple as that
that being said, the Prisoner of Azkaban is still probably the Harry Potter movie I remember the most fondly. deranged yet comfy

The premise is about someone being tortured in the worst prison by mistake.
It introduced the "memory eating" monsters, who try to depress you to death.
The kindest character is a fucking werewolf.
The entire environment changes in order to take any semblance of familiarity away from the movie.

The memory eaters attacked even during the football.
There were also monsters that outright personify your fear.
