I mean, plug and play was standart for decades.
Connect mouse, you have mouse. Connect monitor, you have monitor. connect keyboard, you have keyboard. Connect a fucking smartphone, and in few clicks, you can share internet through USB.
Connect printer and...... derp... I don't know this device.... Do you reaaaaaly have the new drivers?
The drivers are just the beginning, ese. Just wait until you get your first mechanical failure

Mechanical error is understandable. Driver issues are inexcusable.

@LukeAlmighty funny enough, i've never had printer issues on linux but i have had so many on mac and windows. back when i ran linux on my laptop all of my coworkers would send me files to print because it just worked xD

Tried it now, and this printer isn't talking to my Linux laptop either.
