While the MCU is dying, I still have to say, that the Guardians of the galaxy 3 might have the most interesting villain since No way home.

@LukeAlmighty What makes the villain interesting? I'm not gonna watch it, so feel free to tell me all the details.

@Jens_Rasmussen
He has a clear goal. He's a scientist, who want to create a "perfect race", so he does see death of others as nothing but another step in his process.

He even goes as far, as to cause a planet-sized extinction, since the civilization he created wasn't up to his standard.

The difference between him and other villains is, that in his case, you know exactly why he's a threat. And that makes him seriously menacing.

@LukeAlmighty Do you not normally know why villains are a threat? I thought it was common practice to either have the villain explain or show why the heroes must stop them.

@Jens_Rasmussen Well, they usually try, but it way too often doesn't land at all.

@Jens_Rasmussen Oh, trust me... The bar is so deep underground, noone can survive the dive to take a look at it anymore.

For instance, there was a character who wanted to "kill all gods", but you didn't know just how dedicated he will be, how strong he is, who the fuck even is a god in MCU, and especially, if there would be any effect at all.
