I've just learned the Sims 3 doesn't have autosave without a mod...
And I've learned it the hard way. (several hours...)

Sorry, the game didn't ask me before the crash.
@LukeAlmighty idk how autistic you want to get with your playthrough but you should look into optimizing it. that helps with crashing/lagging/etc.
also make SURE you limit the game's frames otherwise it will just run into oblivion since there is no vsync option.
