I asked, because I am seriously torn on the topic.
On one side, I live a completely normal life. The mark of "autism" just means, that I see people around me as animals. But that would cost me my life if eugenics were in effect.
On the other, I saw a mother spend her life keeping her son alive for ~15 years. That kid was literally unable to move, talk, or eat.
On the 3rd hand, a wheelchair ridden kid changed my life, just by living his own.
So..... yeah. It's complicated is the most I can tell.
You wouldn't get shafted because of autism, that's silly, if you were absolutely crippled by it then maybe, but in that case it wouldn't be autism what did you in
