Game of the year?

· · Web · 7 · 2 · 2
@LukeAlmighty as I said, I haven't played it. I just had to think really hard about what came out this year (I wanted to say Bannerlord but apparently that's 2022)

@YTFoidLover1488 @grips
Yeah, I love Factorio and Space engineers, but when it comes to Kingdom comes or Mafia, I just don't get the hype.

@kf01
Fuck... Might as well delete the poll :D

Well, I'll re-do it later.

@LukeAlmighty Why are you going with the gay TGA options? Who here even like Glownigger Wake 2 or Soyny-Man? Mario Wonder and Pizza Tower would be far better alternatives.

@ChristiJunior
Because, I wanted to know what fedi thinks about this exact list. (Especially, since in my opinion, Zelds is leagues ahead of all the others.)

@LukeAlmighty Ah, that's fair, I was worried that you actually expected those 4 to be the most popular picks.

@ChristiJunior
And to be honest, I didn't even hear about Alan Wake 2 before he was nominated.

Spooderman is a typical AAA slob with literally recycled mechanics. The combat was re-used endlessly since Batman arkham asylum. (best variation being shadow of war), and swinging mechanic was made better literally in any Attack on Titan fangame.

@grips @LukeAlmighty I played it for the first time this year so it still counts for me

@LukeAlmighty >breath of the wild
lmao

the best game i played this year was ratchet and clank rift apart, but it originally came out in 2021 i think, only got released for PC this year. still leagues better than anything else i played/watched though imo.

other than that though i'd probably give it to ff16 if it were up to me.

@LukeAlmighty maybe if my ass could keep playing system shock instead of working on my game i'd think it was goty for me but i only just barely got to the second level xD

@LukeAlmighty I'm probably in a minority on fedi.... but im a big bg3 fan. Game lived up to hype and price... unlike botw2
