One trend got to me recently, that scares me to the core. And as usual, it's with education system.
I know a ton of people, who told me:
I went to study "a subject I have 0 interest in", because I didn't get to my primary school choice.
Well, WHY IS YOUR 2ND CHOICE IN AN UNRELATED FIELD? ARE YOU INSANE?
I seriously struggle to comprehend the magnitude of such a bad decision. Yet, the more I talk to others, the more I see it. Maybe the non-autistic brais seriously don't develop at all before the age of 45. ![]()
@LukeAlmighty her employer also did not value the knowledge or skills she attained at school. Their only concern was that she was a certified trainable monkey that would not question their authority and assist them in imposing it on others.
@beardalaxy
I get it
I went through Star Wars. I have seen it all.
@LukeAlmighty they have no direction and have just been told they need to go to school because it's the thing you're supposed to do. I have plenty of friends like this. Most of them I've been able to talk out of it, one guy though still lives with his parents half the year and goes to school the other half. He's been doing this since 2015 and I have no idea what his plan is. My brother is kind of like this too. He just got his Bachelor's degree but wants to go for his master's now, not for any particular reason, just to have it.
