@LukeAlmighty @newt If you have a loving relationship, then outside forces have to become the conflict to drive the plot forwards. From a writing standpoint, if you want relationship drama then it is easier to write one that is internal to the relationship. On saying this, I think there are some nice slice of life stories where loving relationships work. Not sure if this is expected in a superhero film but it could be refreshing.
