How about drinking water? You know? That shit that costs 4czk and can fucking save lives? Why is the great European union seriously unable to provide drinking water payed by the tax payer? It would unironically cost so insanely little, and help people so much.

@LukeAlmighty Privatising water companies has been an unmitigated disaster for us. It's one of the few things I'm okay being nationalised given that it's needed for life.

Healthcare may be a human right but making irreversible decisions for someone who can't have tattoos or cast electoral votes is not.

@thatbrickster
I used it as an example, to compare just how expensive services we're willing to nationalize, while letting people die of heatstroke for 4 czk worth of water.

@LukeAlmighty Not even that, I learned recently companies aren't required to test water for PFAS (forever chemicals) or pharmaceuticals. We have no idea if their processes clean them out so we should assume they don't.

@LukeAlmighty same people who charge 4czk for water have no trouble charging 5 euro for water in an airport after the zone where they forcibly take away your water for "safety"

they also have no trouble charging for healthcare and hooking kids to the trans agenda so they would maybe get some of treatment for free, and then get more, more, and more, just like with actual drugs
