English motherfucker...

That shit doesn't even speak english... How is such a fail even possible these days?

@LukeAlmighty If it's something made for Eastern Europe, it doesn't seem that weird. But I have no idea what this is, so :blobshrug:

@alyx
A game not having an english option, while still offering such weird and esoteric languages as Czech does not seem weird to you?

@LukeAlmighty If they don't expect, or maybe want, the game to end up being played outside of this geographic area, this certainly is something they'd do. If anything, I find the inclusion of Greek weirder, cause they're further away from the rest.
My initial assumption was that this was some random app (only words I recognize there are "chat" and "client"). And that would definitely have more reasons to be geographically restricted. If it's a game, that does make it a bit more unusual, but not outside the scope of possibility imo.

As for why you wouldn't want to sell a game to a world wide audience, maybe dealing with American, UK, or other countries' legal stuff is too much for a small dev team. But again, I'm making assumptions about what kind of game, and how big it is.

If it's a small East European team, small game, and especially if we're talking early access, or early version, lack of language options doesn't seem particularly weird.

If on the other hand, this is a game the size of even classic WoW, sure, that would be fucking weird. Or if this were a game made by Koreans. Then it literally wouldn't make sense. Context matters, and I have little context to go on.

@LukeAlmighty And that's how you find out I never played League.

In that case... hhmmm... if that's game audio (not just interface language) my assumption would be that they're packaging their game based on geographic regions, to reduce size. Which again, makes Greek being there very odd. And it's still be weird cause there would be better ways to package and distribute things.

@LukeAlmighty Actually, they might have other reasons for packaging the game differently based on regions. Remember that China has rules on censoring things like skeletons in games? Yeah. They might have several versions of LoL that they ship to different areas exclusively. So if this version is designed for your country, for whatever cultural censorship reasons, English could be viewed as kinda useless to include, just like you wouldn't include English in the Chinese version of LoL.

It goes back to my original assumption that they expect this to be used only in this geographic area.
