The point is destruction of working established work flows.

@LukeAlmighty it takes like 5 seconds to change the settings lol it's not that big of a deal xD

i like tabs staying open because it works like how i use a physical notepad for the most part. i leave it on the same page dedicated to the task i'm doing that stretches across several days. if i really want to close a tab i'll close the tab instead of the window.

it's an improvement of notepad and if you don't want the improvements then just turn them off dude. nothing got fucked up xD

But do you know, what would really not be a big deal? To call it notepad2 and keep the old one there.

@LukeAlmighty @beardalaxy When I discovered Notepad++, I stopped using Notepad on Windows, so I don't know if they changed it.
And thanks to this toot, I just found its macOS clone, Notepad Next!
