Just because the Disney movies exist doesn't mean the prequels are good movies. It's not a baseline to be taken seriously...

@MartianM00n @LukeAlmighty @coded_artist As a kid I loved the Prequels for the spectacle, while as an adult I really appreciate stuff like Palpatine brilliant machinations and Episode II Anakin being a total Chud. The flaws of the movies generally strike me as either way overblown (Jar Jar Binks, the Midichlorians etc) or legitimate (the acting, some of the chemistry), but easy enough to look past. On the whole I consider the Prequel Trilogy legitimately good, certainly not worse than something like Return of the Jedi.
