I am 25, and I have been working for only an year.
I have noticed that a lot of people in company I am working at are spending a lot of time thinking about their "carier progression". It seems seriously almost inconsievable to me.
I came from a poor background, and I was always told, that job has to keep you alive and not to ruin my life. So, when I have an easy job that pays A TON, I have to wander, why do these people keep talking about "progression". I am learning more every single day, so the progression seems almost inevitable.

Am I missing something, or could this be caused simply by the fact, that I am in the engineering part of company, where merit is still more important then politics? Or is this just my libertarian meritocratic bias, and I am stupid for not thinking about "progression" constantly?

Just posting this before I chech the facts.
This shic cannot be real... It is impossible that the same company that bragged about removing buttshots would also shape a lab coat to show boobs... That is not possible.

I was kistening to destiny recently and I have realized just why is social justice so destructive.

At one point, he asks about the concept of positive feedback loop, and that "whites" do benefit from them more, and that is why we should support these loops in blacks instead.

And then it hit me. One Elon Musk is worth millions of highschool graduates. In order to create a single Elon though, every single feedback loop has to hit PERFECTLY. And that is the problem. You cannot artificially start stripping people of their opportunities and just hoping that you hit a jackpot by plating them manually. that is pure madness.

But wait, it gets worse. Natural feedback loops are always stronger then artificial because they are based in this world. If the lefties are fucking with the positive loops, tbey are still not removing the negative ones. On the contrary, they are creating more of them.
