If you ewer wander why do we see personal pronouns only in english, but not in other languages, it's because although it might be simple to alter retardingly simply language like english, when the language is too hard for natives to learn, they don't have time to create sub-versions of their own.

I am 25, and I have been working for only an year.
I have noticed that a lot of people in company I am working at are spending a lot of time thinking about their "carier progression". It seems seriously almost inconsievable to me.
I came from a poor background, and I was always told, that job has to keep you alive and not to ruin my life. So, when I have an easy job that pays A TON, I have to wander, why do these people keep talking about "progression". I am learning more every single day, so the progression seems almost inevitable.

Am I missing something, or could this be caused simply by the fact, that I am in the engineering part of company, where merit is still more important then politics? Or is this just my libertarian meritocratic bias, and I am stupid for not thinking about "progression" constantly?
