Funny that. I used to ve an antitheist for that exact reason. We live in a beautiful world, and the only thing that's real is what we can live through ourselves as well as how others will live after us.
Christians I know seem to not see this simple truth. Instead, they are just waiting to start their true life after death. And that is horrible. I wish I could show them the beauty of this life, and their duty to protect it.

I am an atheist but I do believe in an afterlife and every day I start to open up to Christianity more and more.
These people are telling others that their lives, their lives that were given to them and will eventually end, that they aren't worth sacrificing for a greater cause and when their lives end, they will be judged one way or another, the people speaking like so cannot fathom living for something greater than themselves.
They cannot imagine beliefs that are worth more than their lives.
These people are truly godless in my eyes, and not just some guy who never really thought about religion and he actually doesn't care if a god exists or an afterlife exists, it's why these truly ''against deities'' people despise not only Christianity but any religion.
Because it reminds them that they puny, pathetic little people who don't even live to make a better future for their children.
They think material wealth is all you need to ensure a better future for your children, that as long as their family is fine and not starving, their children will be alright.
They are simply imitating other humans and don't actually possess the knowledge and know-how of being a proper, up-right human being.
Everyday I become more and more malicious towards anti-theists. Towards these vile creatures that hate how people believe that there's something greater than themselves.
And these same exact people will turn around and say, ''Well, look at the universe and how insignificant you are.'' and won't pause for a moment to think that you agree with that and that in spite of it, you aren't filled with despair and meaninglessness.

Ok, I didn't know solar was cheaper over summer. Although, it does maake sense.

@LukeAlmighty tbh, the problem with nuclear is that that this is still an expensive technology and a kWh has a constant pricing, in the summer the energy from wind mills and solar panels is just much cheaper, which means that energy sold by the nuclear plants is sold below market prices, the nuclear plants therefore charge more in the winter. Depending on the prices, the hike might be significant, at least for now
