There is one thing that scares the shit out of me about AI.

What do you call a chemist who knows how to create explosives? Educated.
What do you call an AI that knows how to make explosives? Dangerous and broken.

We cannot accept the idea of an a machine providing a person with knowledge. Even though, it is a common progression since the invention of speech, when it comes to AI, we refuse to accept, that an AI saying how to build a bomb is a good thing. Fuck, we are selling chemistry books to kids already, and there are youtube videos that explain in great detail how to build even a nuke.

So, why would AI summarizing that knowledge be any different?

@cowanon
Today, we have millions of GPS chips in our phones modeled after missile targeting systems. Why do we need them, if you cannot make an ICBM with them anyway?

@Tfmonkey @natsock @Wolffkran
Yeah...
Sometimes, I have an autistic problem with believing someone could be "that dumb". :omegalul:

@experiencersinternational
> I don't consider first 15 years of my life cannon

Fuck, that line is perfect. I might actually start using that unironically.

@natsock @Tfmonkey @Wolffkran
The entire point of bread and circuses is, that as long as you don't fear for your life itself, and you have something to look forward to, you can be exploited infinitely.

But the war breaks both requirements.

@Tfmonkey
Yeah...
But I don't think it's "just inflation". They literally cannot win by definition, because a victory means bringing the other side to its knees.

But We cannot attack Russia cuz nukes. So, what exactly are we trying to accomplish?
