I agree with everything except the last part. If someone want's to save money by buying a PS5, then I still believe, he will be better off buying a cheap PC for the same price, and actually use the machine.

I have an Xbox one, and after I found out just how ridiculously restricted that machine is, I never turned it on again.

The reason why I would never recommend console is, that
1) It cannot be used for ANYTHING other then official games. until you start hacking it.
2) Games are MUCH more expensive
3) The games won't be usable in a few years
4) No modding, No option to change graphical options for some reason.
5) No custom software, you cannot even watch youtube while playing

Playing on console is so restrictive.

Yes, I chose it to show, that buying PS5 because it's cheap seems stupid, when you can buy a cheap PC. Without any thinking.

I get the joke, but all I'm saying is, that if you want a gaming PC, you can always just buy a pre-build.

It is still better then a console. And you don't have to think about balancing it. But it doesn't lock you out of using the maching for actual work on it. Or Pirating games... Or just playing free stuff.

The problem with these GPU's is, that they are 10 times stronger, then new games actually need. So yes, consoles are cheaper... but only because they are so far behind this, that comparing them to new GPU's is.... comical.

Either buy a PC, or Deck if you have a PC already.

I have a many years old 1660, and it still isn't even sweating. Consoles don't offer you the "best experience" as much as "optimized experience", where you don't even see what details are turned off.

Why am I even starting anyway? I know you understand technology enough to know all of that.
