The iconic Intel 8086 processor (1978) set the path for modern computers. Like most CPUs, it supports interrupts, a mechanism to interrupt the regular flow of processing. I've been reverse-engineering it from the silicon die, and I can explain how its interrupt circuitry works.

I still hold that one of the greatest arguments against "sexual content takes you out" is NieR: Automata. 2B's gorgeous butt is up in your face all the time... but we love the story, don't we? Both can exist: a sexy character, and high stakes. Fighting games can have both sexy characters and good gameplay.
But then again, what do you expect from people who are literal npcs. Maybe some "pro players" were complaining they kept getting distracting thoughts while Kitana's T&A were out while playing at an MK Tournament, so NR nerfed the women.
