I pretty much agree with the things you point out, the problem in practice is that as an e.g. steel fab shop you're going to have a tough time competing with larger outfits that have economies of scale. The way around this is either specializing (find niche) or leveraging the internal economy (those in the group get discounts on all work and kickbacks for referrals). The upstart white tribal collective is going to have to rely on the system for certain raw materials unless you're sourcing lots of scrap for some things, but for other things can be pretty self-sufficient.

The system is terrible at training and retraining for pretty much anything and everything. If we can do better than that, and I think we can, even on a local scale that will make a big difference.

This means that unless you live on some grandfathered bit of land which is untaxed or unless you squat illegally avoiding the taxman, you have to earn money in their dollar economy simply to stay on "your" land in "your" house. This is where "gun in the room" posting is absolutely warranted, because all of this is backed up with deputies armed with AR15s showing up at your house to evict, imprison, or ventilate you if you don't follow the rules and while they might not enforce the law for negroes shoplifting they will for tax cattle not paying their tax.

oh wow, the Award BIOS Logo format is WEIRD. it has a size defined in "characters". So, like, this image is 136x84, but is stored as 17x6, because it's 17 characters wide by 6 tall.
And it's got COLOR ATTRIBUTES! You can only use one color per cell, because this is technically a TEXT MODE!
