Sales, business analysts, operations, and other meta/looting positions are where it's at these days. Fuck actually making anything or doing anything, figure out what the company likes doing and can't outsource and do that.

@farmers_wife @LukeAlmighty last week I was at a safety course.. 60 people in a room and a lector.. there was only one (!) person wearing a mask (but not the lector).. the lecturer was speaking about the absolute necessity of wearing masks inside :-D I felt exactly like in a scene from the 60's Czech movie Bila pani, where people are swimming in the river, but they pretend there is a bridge.. absurdistan..

When Life Disappoints You, Don’t Disappoint Life

https://ytprivate.com/watch?v=43fmnrSC84E

For many, the disappointments of life justify destructive behaviors towards oneself and others. Entitlement to what they feel they deserve, or what others have and they have not, leads to disappointment if reality doesn’t provide them with what they expect. And thus, they feel wronged.

In a way, life has betrayed us. From the day we were born, it has sold us false expectations of sunshine, served us utter lies on a golden platter, and then slaps us in the face with indifference after we see our dreams perish, one by one. Instead of the paradise we’ve built in our minds, we encounter wastelands of cold, harsh, life-as-it-is: of randomness, of meaninglessness, of absurdity.

So, this is it? Maybe. And it may get even worse, looking at the transient nature of life, showing us that decay, sickness, and death await us. But how can we deal with a life that only seems to give us lemons? How to go on when fate has killed our hopes and dreams, and all that’s left is hopelessness?

@mig @LukeAlmighty People who stare at you for not wearing a mask do so for 1 of 2 reasons. 1 - they are envious and wish they had the courage to defy or 2 - they are terrified and secretly want to shank you. Own the attention. Group 1 is looking for permission from a peer to take off their masks - the more they see the defiance the more likely they will be to participate in kind.

A kid in high-school in Georgia God dared 5 dollars to rip the faggot flag off another kid and throw it in the trash and he actually did it. They doxxed him and are now trying to get criminal charges placed against him and him suspended.
