@tomie it's these types of things I find super interesting especially that one woman who explained how Africans have a different perception of time putting all this together really puts into context why certain things happen in different African countries and it makes so much sense.
Another point I found interesting is how someone asked a question if Africans are very family oriented and very collectivist how come they have a hard time maintaining their environments especially if that say something was given to them for their family they would obviously would want to keep it nice and preserved but it normally falls into disarray and the answer I got basically from someone who has worked with some constantly is that because they don't feel any soul ownership of something and everything shared they just let it kind of degrade away because no one feels truly invested in it.
In comparison to wear something like China or in Asia to where if someone was getting something for their family by not maintaining something it's a mark against their family therefore they want to keep everything nice and pristine to say face unlike in Africa to where you only want to save face specifically for your family and it doesn't really matter for others outside of your extended family.
