I'm curious... could you run a virtual machine inside a virtual machine?
I'll have to try this with VirtualBox. I know there are better software out there, but I'm not gonna spend money on Vmware just for a silly idea I came up with after taking a shower.

I've been wanting to give qemu a try, but VirtualBox has been so perfect for me, that I never really lacked any features, so why fix something that's not broken.

Really? Here MS Office is such a default, and it's so expected that people pirate it, that when we touched on using Excel in Uni, the teacher literally made a pirated copy available to us.
