I'm unironically curios if Raid Shadow Legends is actually any fun. Has anyone actually played it?

@alyx there would be no need of such agressive advertising if it was fun.

@alyx I have not played it, but I played a different game of the same ganere.

Galaxy of heroes.

Mobile games tend to be 95% reskins, so I doubt there will be much difference. (except for debt of mechanics. Galaxy of heroes is getting old, so some characters have a )

It was fun once I got deeper into combinations and strategies, but that took several months before I got to that stage and a few months later comes a "ULTRA-GRIND" where you can spend months of daily 15 min work getting a single "upgrade" for a single character.

Now for the P2W. These games are so grind oriented, that the P2W is not even that important, since you would have to be "very charitable" for it to make any difference.

Daily 5-20 minute grind required.
If you spend a ton of time on research, you will be slowly getting towards the top.
There comes an inevitable point where the game slows down to such a paste, it is no longer a game.

@alyx
As for example for the abilities, this is a famous Revans wall of text:
"At the start of battle, Jedi and Old Republic allies gain +5 Speed, +5% Crit Chance and +5% Offense for each Jedi and each Old Republic ally. At the start of battle, Jedi allies gain Tenacity Up for 1 turn. While Revan is in the leader slot and not the ally slot, units are immune to bonus Turn Meter effects from Leader abilities until the start of the first turn of battle.

Whenever a Jedi ally attacks out of turn, they recover 20% of their Max Protection and deal 35% more damage. When a Jedi ally uses a Basic ability on an enemy with Bonus Protection, reduce the target enemy's Max Health by 10% (stacking, doesn't work against Raid Bosses). At the start of each Jedi ally's turn, they gain Strategic Advantage if no ally has Strategic Advantage. A Jedi ally with Strategic Advantage can't be countered.

Strategic Advantage: Dispel all debuffs on target other Jedi ally. They gain Strategic Advantage and assist, using their Basic ability. This character uses their Basic ability and loses Strategic Advantage."

Even though most abilitiy descriptions are only 1/2 as long, you get 4-6 such texts per character and 5 characters per team so the ability to mix teams is something truly entertaining... (until you get to the phase, where you are waiting 4 months to get one character to their "best shape")
