I explained the situation and my registrar was super understanding. They said they investigated the report on their own as well. That was the end of that.
However, apparently a list of people who say they're trans in their bio (so it's public knowledge that anyone could already collect) is too dangerous to handle things properly! We don't have time to notify the registrar or the domain owner. This needs to come down now! This isn't something that's "no big deal" like "potential child porn" it's literally "potential aggregate public information on supposed trans people" and it must be stopped immediately because butthurt.
The level of hypocrisy is kind of astounding tbh
