The most annoying part of the covid debate was simply the distinction of "approved sources".
My first assumption is "I do not trust globohomo sources, hlobohomo want's me dead."
While the opponents tend to assume that "globohomo is the highest standart of proof possible".
It's so annoying, because no matter what I say, they will show a globohomo approved number. And when they show me a "fact checked number", all I see is a cheap propaganda peace.

It helps when you have a bit of knowledge of these things in advanced (how vaccines work, disease spread, stuff like that). Then you can tell which globohomo sources are actively trying to kill you, which are just trying to save themselves, and which are actually truthful. And among the truthful, which are actually giving you good information, and which are just plain ol' stupid.
